Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Hospo Mojo Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 67 521 388 680, "Hospo Mojo", "we", "us") operates this website and provides hospitality coaching services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

As a small business, Hospo Mojo Consulting is below the $3 million annual turnover threshold at which the Australian Privacy Act 1988 automatically applies. That said, we've chosen to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice, because we think you deserve to know exactly what happens with your details.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, business/venue name (optional), and your message.
  • Free resource downloads and newsletter signups: your email address and, optionally, your first name.
  • Coaching clients: name, email, phone number, business details, and information you share with us in the course of a coaching engagement (numbers, systems, team structure, etc.), as needed to deliver the service you've engaged us for.
  • Automatically collected data: we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal or identifiable information about individual visitors. It reports aggregate statistics only — things like page views, referring sites, country-level location, and device type.
  • Cookies: we use a small number of functional cookies/local storage to remember things like your cookie preference and whether you've already unlocked a free download. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

  • To send you the free resource you requested and any related follow-up emails.
  • To respond to enquiries made through the contact form.
  • To deliver, manage, and communicate about coaching services you've engaged us for.
  • To send marketing emails if you've opted in — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.
  • To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
  • To meet legal or accounting obligations.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and our business, who process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:

  • Supabase (database hosting/storage)
  • Resend (transactional and marketing email delivery)
  • Lovable (website hosting and development platform)
  • Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly website analytics)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Some links on our Resources page (for example Square, Deputy, and the Marsello and book links) are affiliate/referral links to third-party businesses — if you click through and sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those third-party sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia. By using this site or our services, you consent to your information being handled on that basis.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law (for example, financial record-keeping obligations), and delete or de-identify it after that.

Your choices

You can ask us, at any time, to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. Just contact us using the details below.

Children

Our services are intended for business operators and are not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
